Kooljaman at Cape Leveque – live and work in paradise
Kooljaman at Cape Leveque is a unique Aboriginal owned wilderness camp in a beautiful and remote coastal location north of Broome. We are currently looking for exceptional people to join our wonderful team for the 2011 season.

Duties include cleaning of accommodation and ablutions, laundry duties, and General Hand work including gardening, lawn maintenance and helping in the kitchen/restaurant.
Couples with a strong work ethic who, ideally, have worked in the tourism industry will be highly regarded. A double room is provided in a shared house at a subsidised rent. Applications require a vehicle driver’s licence, and their own means of transport to get here.

During the season Kooljaman employs 19 staff, including a management couple, assistant management couple, chef, waitress and 10 part-time seasonal staff to fill various positions.
We are always happy to hear from people interested in joining our enthusiastic team.
Some positions are year round with others coming on board for the peak season commencing in March / April, staying until at least the end of October. Our staff accommodation is most suited to couples, though single people are still welcome to apply.
All work is allocated according to skills and organizational requirements and generally includes: Cleaning, Gardening, Shop, Maintenance, Rubbish Collection, Yard Work, Food Preparation, Dish Washing & Guest Relations.
During the peak season, we operate on a weekly roster system, with two days off per week. Hours worked during the peak season are generally between 36 - 40 per week, with extra hours sometimes required. During the off season, hours drop down to around 20 - 25 hours per week.

No specific skills or experience are required for these positions, though a hard working positive attitude and a friendly disposition are considered essential.
